All of the beautiful artwork was created by Jennifer Purvis. Jen was inspired by her favorite bear, "Snuffles" from Gund. Jennifer had cystic fibrosis and in the last six months of her life she set about bringing "Snuffles" and all of his friends to life. Jennifer died from cystic fibrosis in 1985 at the age of twelve.
